Research
My research focuses on health disparities, migration, and gender. I currently lead the NCN Miniatura-8 project, investigating menstrual hygiene needs in Polish refugee centers. My work has been published in journals such as Polish Journal of Applied Sciences and Health Psychology Report , addressing themes like acculturation, religiosity, and media constructs of poverty.
I frequently present at international conferences, including the IMISCOE Spring Conference and the Canadian Sociological Association, where I discuss migration-related health challenges and cultural barriers to healthcare access.
